    Managed services

What managed services are in Vigilbase One, where they appear in the sidebar and how to read their status.

A managed service is something Vigilbase runs for you on a vendor's platform: web protection on Cloudflare, endpoint management through NinjaOne, or SaaS backups through Afi. Vigilbase One shows each active service on its own page, so you can see what is covered without signing in to each vendor.

Your Vigilbase team sets services up and links them to your organisation. You read their state in One; changes go through change requests.

    Where services appear

When your organisation has at least one active service, the sidebar shows a Services group with one entry per service:

Vigilbase Shield or Cloudflare EnterpriseWeb protection on Cloudflarehttps://one.vigilbase.com/services/shield or https://one.vigilbase.com/services/cloudflare
    EndpointsEndpoint management with NinjaOnehttps://one.vigilbase.com/dashboard/services/endpoint
    Cloud BackupsSaaS backups with Afihttps://one.vigilbase.com/dashboard/services/cloud-backups

Watchdog uptime and security monitoring is not in the Services group. It opens from Monitoring under Workspace in the sidebar. See Watchdog.

    Service status

The sidebar lists only services whose status is active. A service that is not set up yet, or no longer active, does not get a sidebar entry.

Home (https://one.vigilbase.com/dashboard/overview) has a Your services section that summarises what is covered, for example "2 of 3 services active.":

    • Vigilbase Shield or Cloudflare Enterprise shows how many domains are protected, or Active.
    • Web protection shows Not active when your websites are not behind Vigilbase Shield yet.
    • Endpoints shows how many devices are managed, Add endpoints when none are enrolled, or Unavailable when the device inventory cannot be reached.
    • Cloud backups shows Active when Afi backups are set up.

If you open a service page for a service you do not have, the page says Service Not Active and offers Add this service, which starts onboarding.
