Ask Vigil is the chat with Vigil inside Vigilbase One. Conversations are tied to your organisation: Vigil answers from your organisation's data, and only with the access your role has.

Start a conversation
Open Ask Vigil. The page shows What needs your attention? and a few suggestions: What needs my attention today?, Help me investigate a security issue. and Summarize my connected services.
Ask your question. Type in Ask Vigil anything… and press Enter, or click a suggestion.
Follow the answer. Vigil shows the tools it uses while it works, and lists citations for the facts it looked up.
Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation. Vigil keeps the context of the conversation and of the page you are on.
To start again, click New chat.
Find an earlier conversation
- On large screens, Recent lists your latest conversations beside the chat.
- On one.vigilbase.com/dashboard, click History to open Your conversations and page through them with Previous and Next.
A conversation that is closed or archived opens read-only. You can still read its messages and evidence; start a new chat to continue working with Vigil.
Changes to your services
Vigil reads your services to answer you; it does not change them from a conversation in One. To change something, raise a change request. Vigil can help you work out what to ask for.
When Vigil is unavailable
If chat is turned off for your organisation, Ask Vigil shows Vigil chat is turned off for this workspace. You can keep using the pages in the sidebar, or raise a request with the Vigilbase team from Requests.
