# Contracts

> See your service contracts and agreements with Vigilbase in Vigilbase One, including status, renewal dates, usage limits and linked invoices.

The **Contracts** page lists your organisation's contracts and agreements with Vigilbase. Open it from **Account** → **Contracts** in the sidebar, or go to https://one.vigilbase.com/dashboard/contracts.

Your Vigilbase team creates and updates contracts. The page is read-only for you.

## Who can see contracts

You need the **View contracts** permission. By default, every role in a customer organisation has it. Contract values are shown only to people who can also view billing.

## The contracts list

Above the table, badges flag contracts that need attention:

- **awaiting signature**: open contracts that have not been signed yet.
- **expiring soon**: active contracts that end within 90 days.
- **over limit**: contracts whose usage is above a contracted limit.

The table shows each contract's **Contract ID**, **Name**, **Status**, **Expiration** date, **Value** and billing frequency, and the number of **Services** it covers. A contract that renews automatically shows **Auto-renews** under its expiry date.

Use **Search contracts...** to find a contract by name, or the status buttons (for example **Active** or **Expired**) to filter the list. **All** clears the filter.

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Draft** | Being prepared by Vigilbase. |
| **Pending** | Not yet in force. |
| **Active** | In force. |
| **Expired** | Past its expiry date. |
| **Terminated** | Ended early. |

## Open a contract

Select a contract, or select **View Details** in its actions menu. The details panel has four tabs:

- **Overview**: dates, value, billing frequency and renewal settings.
- **Usage**: how your current usage compares with the contract's limits.
- **Line Items**: the services and quantities the contract covers.
- **Invoices**: invoices Vigilbase has linked to the contract.

If usage goes above a limit, the contract shows **Usage Warning**, **Usage Critical** or **Over Limit**. Contact your Vigilbase team if you expect to need more.

## Signing a contract

When Vigilbase needs your signature on a contract or other document, you get an email with a personal signing link. See [Sign a document](https://docs.vigilbase.com/one/billing/sign-a-document).

> [!NOTE]
> If your organisation is a Vigilbase partner, the **Contracts** page instead lists contracts across all your managed customers, view only.
